My first live journal post!
Yep... this is my first entry to LJ and there is lots to talk about, because I have been a VERY busy girl! I have been working part time at a Gastroenterology practice and trying to keep up with my kids, my house, my husband, and my friends. Not to mention, I have been creating art and more digital scrapbook sets and helping out at with the 3 year olds at church. Do I live a full and happy life, or what? Man... I am blessed! :) Sometimes, I think I must be God's very favorite child! LOL! I like to tease my 6 year old son, by saying " Tristan, I must be God's very favorite kid, look at all he has blessed me with!" He always replies in an exasperated tone... "Mom, we are ALL God's favorite kids, because we ALL are blessed!" So wise for such a youngin'!
Speaking of blessings, I have had the opportunity to list some of my Art pieces on Ebay. I joined a new artists group called Art Squared. It is a new 4" X 4" format for creating small, collectible, and affordable art. I love this size! These little art works fit great in those 4X5 photo albums, too! Below are a few of the Art Squared Pieces I have done lately. Can you tell I am into bright, cheerful colors lately! They make me happy just looking at them! I hope they cause the same reaction in you. If they do, then I accomplished my purpose!
That is not all the creating I have done, either! I finished a page set for Scrapbook Elements, and am working on another one as we speak! There is some great scripture word art included with this set and lots of curvy lines that is so popular in the scrapping world! Below is a preview of this set, it is called "

Here is a layout I did of my dd, Andrea using the Bloom kit. Isn't she a cutie pie? :) I must say that I am very proud of my dd, who just started her very first job! Man, she is making me old! I can't believe I have a daughter old enough to work! This aging thing is just rude! Rude, I tell ya!
I am going to end now, with a great inspirational scripture, that I am trying to follow more in my day-to-day life.
It says: "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." Philippians 4:8
There is so much YUCK in the world today! I am finding more and more how important it is for me to focus on the GOOD things! And isn't God is the epitome of GOOD! :)
